Alter Egos: Portland Gay Men’s Chorus

PGMC

The Portland Gay Men’s Chorus is a must see for any visitor. This popular chorus was established in 1980, making it the fourth-oldest gay-identified chorus.

On October 19th, PGMC opens its 34th Season with a Cabaret that will feature members of the chorus singing solos, duets, and small ensemble numbers. They’ll explore their alter egos with respect to gender, politics, sexuality, and dress. The show will have lots of sexual innuendos and explicit references. Selections will include songs from Edges, The Last Five Years, Wicked, Bonny and Clyde, Steel Pier, and The Little Mermaid. You can expect irreverence, humor, tenderness, and ridiculousness as its talented membership takes the stage for this biennial event.

For the Alter Egos cabaret, they are transforming Kaul Auditorium into a Cabaret Club, with tables of ten on the floor level. To purchase an entire table, select all ten seats for purchase.
